I AM GETTING PHANTOM CALLS WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? A. There could be a range problem or an extension problem, one way to determine this, is to bring all the extensions into the area with the main control unit, then try the system, if there is still a problem then you can eliminate each extension one at a time until you find the fault. If the system works fine with all the extensions in one room then you will need to re-assess the layout of the extensions and see if the range path is clear with no major obstacles, if the path has obstacles the extensions need to be repositioned to allow the range path to be clearer. If the problem returns then you will need a repeater. You can use up to a maximum of 4 repeaters. SEE SECTION ON REPEATERS. |
